1994年华中农业大学获学士学位,2005年华中农业大学获博士学位。1994.7-2000.8在湖北黄冈林业学校(黄冈市中等职业学校)工作,2007.5-2010.12在南京农业大学园艺学博士后流动站从事合作研究,2005.7-至今在安徽师范大学生命科学学院工作,植物生物学博士生导师,学科教学(生物)和林业硕士生导师
